Viburnum Valley Farm Confections is an artisan food company that specializes in Chocolate Truffles and European Style Pastries. Our confections are made from the highest quality ingredients and do not contain additives or preservatives. We are a Kentucky Proud company that is committed to using locally sourced ingredients when possible. Produced in small quantities, our truffles are made with premium, single-source chocolate that will please even the most sophisticated chocolate connoisseur. Our tarts and pastries are surprisingly light and buttery with a subtle sweetness that provide a delicate, flavorful experience.

This style of light, not overly sweet confection is the result of co-owner Marianne Swintosky’s culinary sensibilities. Born and raised in Germany, Marianne grew nostalgic for the great pastry traditions she had enjoyed in her native Europe and subsequent travels. Inspired by renowned chefs as well as small village bakers, she has produced her own collection of European inspired delights that are becoming a Lexington tradition.

Our company, Viburnum Valley Farm Confections, LLC, is located in Lexington, Kentucky and named after Marianne’s farm. The idea of the company began to form when both owners (Marianne and Elaine Shay) became next door neighbors and developed a fast friendship over chocolate.

We are dedicated to producing food that will be savored, enjoyed, and remembered by those who truly appreciate the difference our artisan approach makes.
